OUTLINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
Rates are per day in euros and include unlimited kilometres & VAT (Value Added Tax)
Minimum rental period: Between 1 July and 31 August - 2 weeks, rest of the year - 1 week.
Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 19 years old and not more than 75 years old and hold a full and current Netherlands or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by The Netherlands from the country of origin (with an English or Dutch translation where applicable), and valid for the type of vehicle being hired.
Depot/Pickup Points:
Depot: Amsterdam
One-way rental drop offs are available but only on hires of at least two weeks. Pickups must always be in Amsterdam. Drop-off charges at € 1.50 per kilometre. Please ask for a quote stating location.
Airport/StationTransfers
B&W regrets it is unable to provide airport or station pickups. Schipol Airport has a fast and frequent train service to the main Amsterdam rail station and the depot is only a short taxi journey from there.
Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
Standard Insurance is included in the cost of the hire. The hirer is liable for the first € 1000 of any damage caused in any one accident. A bond of € 1000 must be paid at the commencement of the hire is to cover this. The bond can be paid by cash, travellers cheques or credit card. This bond/security deposit is fully refundable within seven days of the return of the vehicle provided it has not been involved in an accident, and is returned undamaged and clean condition.
Standard Bond/security deposit Waiver Insurance
Bond Waiver Insurance (CDW) is an optional extra at a fixed rate of € 14.28 per day. With CDW there is no bond to pay and no excess in the event of an accident. Exclusions: overhead damage, tyre damage, theft of any property belonging to B & W, including theft/missing parts of the TomtomGo navigation system and radio/CD (unless the removable front is presented on return), negligence, interior or frost damage. If any aforegoing 'exclusions' occur, the liability with this Bond Waiver Insurance is limited to € 1000
Bond Waiver Insurance Plus (CDW Plus) is an optional extra at a fixed rate of € 21.42 per day. With CDW Plus there is no bond to pay and no excess in the event of an accident. Exclusions: theft of any property belonging to B & W, including theft/missing parts of the TomtomGo navigation system, negligence, interior or frost damage. If any aforegoing 'exclusions' occur, the liability with this Bond Waiver Insurance (CDW Plus) is limited to € 1000
A GPS when rented as an extra is not covered by insurance.
Even with bond waiver insurance (CDW or CDW Plus) hirers must leave an imprint of their credit card to cover traffic violations, parking tickets etc.
General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:
Missing or damaged equipment. The vehicle is not returned in a clean condition. The toilet is not emptied and chemically recharged. You are not required to refill the tank or replenish the LP gas cylinders as your preparation fee covers this.
B & W reget they are unable to make any refunds for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days, or for voluntary downgrades.

In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, liability will be to only refund those actual lost rental days.
Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 30% which is non-refundable, is payable to secure a booking. The full balance is required a minimum of 35 days before the commencement of the hire or 45 days if payment is by cheque.
The bond, insurances and any additional equipment must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the hire.
Preparation Fee
Preparation fee: € 100: This covers first full tank of propane, toilet chemicals and a full tank of diesel.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees, prior to pick-up are as follows:
35 days and over: loss of deposit
less than 35 days: 100% of total reservation cost
For the purpose of cancellation the charge will exclude the bond, insurance or other options.
In the event of cancellation efforts will be made to re-rent your motorhome in which case you will receive reimbursement, excluding the deposit.
